Danielle Eliska Lyle
filmmaker . screenwriter . poet . journalist
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Danielle completed her studies in English
and African and African American Studies at the University of Michigan- Dearborn. A talented writer in all genres from poetry
to prose, she made her debut onto the artistic scene in 2001 when Just As I Am: A Collection
of Poetry was released. In 2004, she founded Camouflage Magazine, which was distributed in several cities nationwide.
In 2007, Camouflage Magazine underwent reconstruction and became an online magazine, AffluentMag.com, a publication that features
literature, film, theatre, dance, music and visual arts as well as thought-provoking articles.
Although Danielle has an intense passion for the arts and is well-rounded
in all aspects, her focus is film. She has written several feature films and short films. She has worked as developer, director/assistant
director and cinematographer on various collaborative projects. Danielle is a very gifted individual who is making strides
toward a successful future in film.
